A small barrel-shaped bead made of translucent dark brown glass. In the center is a band of white opaque glass with a slightly uneven wavy edge. A fine example of glasswork from the 7th–8th centuries AD. A thin iridescent patina, characteristic of ancient glass, has been partially preserved on the surface.
This iridescence is fixed with a special compound, but with prolonged wear, it may gradually wear off, and the surface of the bead will return to its original appearance.
The twisted hoop is made of sterling silver and decorated with rosettes at the ends.
