A pair of earrings inspired by the archetypal masks of ancient Greek drama.
In the world of Greek theater, masks were essential tools used to define a character’s identity, representing archetypes such as the youth, the elder, the slave, or the satyr. Beyond their visual function, these masks acted as acoustic amplifiers; the wide mouth openings were designed to project the actor's voice throughout the stone amphitheaters. This system was later adopted by the Romans. Interestingly, the Latin word persona is thought to originate from the Etruscan phersu, meaning "mask," suggesting that the concept of personality is historically tied to the roles we play.

Sleeping Fury Reliefs
These earrings feature round cameos crafted from Parian porcelain biscuit, depicting the refined profile of a sleeping Erinys. Set in 24k gold-plated sterling silver, the design balances the weight of ancient myth with a delicate, sculptural aesthetic.
In Greek mythology, the Erinyes (Ἐρινύες)—often known as the Furies—were the formidable deities of retribution. As chthonic spirits of justice, they pursued those who violated the sacred laws of kinship and nature. While traditionally depicted as relentless pursuers, the "sleeping" motif draws from classical representations where the Furies are momentarily pacified, symbolizing the restoration of order and the transition from vengeance to law.
The cameos are made from Parian porcelain, a fine matte biscuit developed in the 19th century to replicate the luminous quality of ancient marble from the island of Paros. Its silky, milky-white surface provides a soft, unglazed finish that replicates the appearance of carved stone.
Cameo Diameter: 18 mm. Total Height: 34 mm. Weight: Approximately 3.5 g per earring.

A pair of sterling silver earrings featuring round bisque porcelain cameos with a high-relief depiction of Zeus-Ammon.
Zeus-Ammon (Greek: Άμμων Ζεύς) is a syncretic Greco-Egyptian deity that fuses the attributes of the Egyptian god Amun with the Greek sovereign Zeus. In classical iconography, this union is famously represented by the inclusion of distinctive ram’s horns upon the head of the Olympian god—a powerful symbol of divine authority and wisdom that was widespread throughout the Hellenistic world.
The cameos are crafted from Parian porcelain, a refined matte biscuit developed in the 19th century to replicate the luminous, silky texture of ancient marble from the island of Paros. Its unglazed surface emphasizes the sculptural depth of the relief, providing a soft, stone-like finish that mirrors the artistry of antiquity.

A pair of sterling silver earrings featuring round bisque porcelain cameos with a high-relief profile of the goddess Hera.
In ancient Greek tradition, Hera reigned as the Queen of the Gods, the wife of Zeus, and the guardian of marriage and family. As the protector of women and lawful unions, she was portrayed in classical art as a figure of immense majesty, often distinguished by a diadem or crown that signified her sovereign dignity and royal status.
The cameos are crafted from Parian porcelain, a fine ceramic developed circa 1845 by the Staffordshire manufacturer Mintons. Named after the Greek island of Paros—celebrated for the white marble used in ancient masterworks—this unglazed bisque porcelain is prized for its warm, translucent tone and a smooth, silky surface that captures the refined elegance of carved stone.

A pair of sterling silver earrings featuring intricate openwork pendants inspired by ancient Slavic jewelry.
The design draws upon the traditional form of the three-bead temple ring, a characteristic adornment of East Slavic women during the Middle Ages. The rounded frame and grouped decorative elements reinterpret the classic wire ring construction, while the secure lever-back clasps provide modern comfort and a stable fit.
Temple rings (vusochnye koltsa) were a prominent feature of medieval Slavic attire, typically suspended from a headdress or braided into the hair near the temples. The three-bead variety became especially prevalent in Kievan Rus' during the 12th and 13th centuries, characterized by wire rings adorned with three voluminous beads often embellished with fine filigree, granulation, or embossing.

A substantial gold-plated sterling silver pendant featuring a central female figure and intricate high-relief fabric folds.
Please note: the chain shown in images is for display purposes only and is not included.
This piece represents the second iteration of our drapery-inspired series. Unlike the previous version encased in a deep gilded housing, this pendant features a refined flat setting. The porcelain cameo is finished with a delicate layer of transparent glaze, which adds a subtle depth and protective luster to the intricate relief work.
The design draws inspiration from one of the most masterful depictions of classical attire: the Aphrodite Doria-Pamphili (Louvre), a Roman copy of a lost Greek original attributed to Agoracritus of Paros - a protégé of Phidias. The goddess is portrayed in a chiton and himation, where the wind creates a complex interplay of billowed and skin-clinging drapery. This dynamic movement is reinterpreted within the sculptural folds of the porcelain cameo.
The gilded silver frame securely holds the relief, and the substantial bail is embellished with traditional granulation.
Diameter: 53 mm. Internal bail diameter: Approximately 5 mm. Weight: 27 g.
