A short cylindrical bead made of translucent green glass, decorated with a pattern of alternating longitudinal stripes of yellow, red, and white. Persia, 8th–9th centuries AD. The bead is in excellent condition.
The ring band is twisted, made of sterling silver and partially patinated. The bead is mounted on a swivel pin. The ends of the band are spherical.
The ring size is approximately 15.7–16.0. The size adjusts when the bead is repositioned.
