A thin cylindrical bead made of opaque red glass, decorated with spiral yellow, white, and blue stripes. Persia, 8th–9th centuries AD. The bead is in excellent condition.
The ring band is openwork, twisted, made of sterling silver, and partially patinated. The bead is mounted on a swivel pin.
The ends of the band are decorated with miniature shell motifs.
