Single Earring with an Ancient Persian Mosaic Bead

A unique earring featuring a 24k gold-plated sterling silver hook-shaped spiral, terminating in a finely detailed miniature ram’s head. The centerpiece is an authentic 8th–9th century Persian cylindrical bead with rounded edges.

The bead was crafted using the mosaic glass technique, forming intricate, asymmetrical yellow-and-red eye motifs set against a deep cobalt blue ground. The ancient bead is in excellent condition, preserved for over a millennium.
