The bead, a rounded tabular form, is made of translucent brown glass with white and red eyes. Persia, 8th–9th centuries AD. The bead features an authentic ancient patina.
The ring band is twisted, made of sterling silver and partially patinated. The bead is mounted on a swivel pin and can be repositioned. The ends of the band are decorated with rosettes.
